Duty Manager (1 x Casual Post):
We are looking for a bright, confident individual to join our Duty Manager team to assist with the daily operation of our busy facilities.
The post will mainly be evening and weekend shifts, however may involve some day shifts therefore some flexibility is desirable.
Hourly Rate : £7.20/h + Holiday Pay.
Responsible for: Assisting FCG with the management of tenants and visiting companies, providing reception for all users of the building, security of the building, ensuring facilities and services are operational.
Qualifications & Experience: The post holder should have experience in customer relations and at least one previous supervisory role. The post holder should have at least five standard grades or equivalent.
Desirable attributes: Experience of using fire alarm control panels and access intruder alarm systems, experience of working as part of an events team, interest in the creative media sector.

Film City Glasgow (FCG) is a leading provider of screen and creative industries infrastructure and facilities in Scotland. Based in Govan, Glasgow, it is a centrally located, well-connected facility, uniquely offering the opportunity for industry skills, training, and CPD initiatives to take place alongside indigenous and international film and television production – in real time, within a living, breathing, screen production facility.
One of our key objectives is to enable access and entry to the screen and creative industries for all ages and abilities. In order to deliver this objective, FCG has created FILM CITY FUTURES, a not for profit organisation with charitable status, with the ambition to establish itself as a catalyst for participation, learning, and innovation.
The following opportunities to work on the Film City Futures project are as follows:
We are seeking a PROJECT MANAGER to lead the organisation and take responsibility for the project management and delivery of all our initiatives over the next twelve months. This will include our flagship projects Jumpcut and Frontrunners, and various additional funded programme strands for 2015/16. This is a full time position, fixed term for 12 months.
We are also seeking a DEVELOPMENT OFFICER to work across both Film City Futures and FCG to develop existing and new partnerships with external agencies and organisations, with a key objective of growing trading activities and expanding the number of young people we work with in Scotland. The post is 0.6 FTE, fixed term for 12 months.
